Sports schedules & event coverage

Live sport by competition and event

Find a match, a race session or a fight card through the MainSports sports directory. Choose the competition you follow, then open its listed events for times and viewing information. Football, basketball, hockey, racing and tournament sports each have a dedicated starting point.

Your starting point for each sport

A broad schedule is useful when you want to see what is happening across several sports. A dedicated schedule is a better starting point when you already know the competition. Use soccer streams for association football, American football for the NFL and other gridiron competitions, or basketball to move between professional and college schedules.

The sport directories also help distinguish events with similar names. A Formula 1 practice session is different from the Grand Prix, a UFC preliminary card begins before the main card, and a tennis tournament may have several courts in action at once. Select the listing that matches the part of the event you intend to follow.

What an event listing tells you

The most useful details are the participants, competition, stage and scheduled start. Team names alone may not identify the correct fixture: the same clubs can meet in a league, cup or friendly, while a baseball series contains several separate games. For motorsport and golf, the session or round matters just as much as the event name.

Open the event details to check its viewing information. An event appearing in a schedule does not, by itself, establish that a live viewing option is available. Coverage can also differ between a full event, a studio programme and a channel carrying several events. Match the listing to what you actually want to watch.

A viewing plan that survives a schedule change

A saved event can outlast its original start time. For an overseas fixture, use the timezone guide to compare the full date. For a player that does not start, the playback checks help distinguish a timing issue from a connection problem. Coverage depends on the selected event and provider; the schedule is a way to find information, rather than a promise of access to every broadcast.
